![]() ![]() Pretty frustrating though that I can't even get both programs (OA and Arma II) to communicate properly. Can someone tell me how I can fix this stupid problem? I have purchased both games, legally off Steam and this issue just pisses me off.I've been playing (trying to play) Arma for months now and I do just as much troubleshooting this damn program with mods and addons as I do actually playing it. you just need to exit steam, restart steam as adminstrator, then launch arma 2, then launch arma :oa, then launch combined operations. I see online that a lot of folks have this problem and some have suggested editing the registry, though, all of the solutions online suggest there may be something wrong with my registry? This thread helps fix the problem but in MY registry, shown here you can see that i don't have an Arma 2 folder under Bohemia Interactive Studio, not to be confused with the one above it labeled just "Bohemia Interactive". ![]() ![]() ![]() If that won't help you can try to verify game cache of the Arma 2 and Arma OA. Then try to run Arma OA (without beta or DayZ). Okay, so I am trying to merge my OA and Arma II folders because obviously my registry is not recognizing the two are interrelated.I accomplished this task once a few months ago and unfortunately had to do a reinstall recently which brought up this problem again. There are several possible fixes for this issue. ![]()
